I was a little fearful of hand bruising from filler. Had no problem at all. Filled in nicely.

After a consultation, where I asked many questions and received thorough answers, I decided to make an appointment for filler above and below my lips to fill in the lines that I've had for ten years. The procedure started with some topical numbing and a dental block to reduce the sting of the needle as the lips are a sensitive area. I only felt occasional discomfort during the procedure. It was minor and quickly forgotten when the treatment was over and the (assistant) showed me a mirror, and the lines that I'd had for years were gone! There was some minor swelling but no bruising. In a couple of days, it looked even better! I had no down time. The staff was supportive as they worked ion me and told me exactly what they were doing. They were thoughtful and kind and continued to answer all my questions. I'm so glad that Edgebrook Dermatology has professional, highly trained people for these specialized procedures, and they do them right here in Rockford!
