Potenza™ RF Microneedling

Potenza™ RF microneedling is an FDA-cleared treatment for the face and body. It uses radio frequency waves to stimulate the growth of new collagen and elastin fibers in the skin. There are many other microneedling treatments on the market that use different technologies, devices, and techniques, each ranging in expectations. Potenza™ RF Microneedling is a minimally-invasive skin service that is usually well-tolerated by patients. This treatment can occur in a doctor's office or a medical spa. The duration of treatments may vary, but they typically last 45 minutes or less.

You can expect your microneedling treatment to be fairly simple. Your provider will start by applying numbing cream to the surface of your skin to keep it comfortable during the treatment. A handheld device will be passed over your skin to treat concerns such as deep wrinkles and acne scarring. 

Our team uses the Potenza device, which has ultrafine needles and RF energy, to penetrate the area of concern and target the deep layers of the skin. We also infuse a hyaluronic acid serum into the skin using Potenza's only-of-its-kind Fusion tip, allowing a hydrating serum to penetrate deeply into the skin, restoring moisture loss and enhancing the skin's healing abilities. You may return to normal activities following your session, but you should use gentle products and avoid unprotected sun exposure for the full week after a session.

The number of Potenza™ RF Microneedling you will need will depend on many factors, including the severity of your condition, your age, your skin type, and your response to treatment. Most people will need between 4 and 8 treatments to see significant results. Maintenance may be recommended over time to promote long-term results and benefits as you continue to age and exposure your skin to the sun and environmental factors.

After attending the first appointment, most people will start to notice their skin is healthier and more evenly toned. Over the next 90 days, as collagen is produced in the deepest layers of the skin, these results will continue to improve. Of course, additional treatments will lead to further improvement and more visible results.
